The Nigeria Union of Journalists has honoured Mr. Richard Osaseyi, Chairman of Osaseyi Foundation with excellent award for his humanitarian services, described the recipient as a man with a good heart.
Presenting the award to Mr. Osaseyi, Gov. Bello disclosed that the State Government is impressed with the support to the vulnerable and indigent in the society, pointing out that his intervention in the education sector, through scholarship is well recognized.
Represented by the Secretary to State Government, Dr. Folashade Ayoade Arike, PhD, expressed appreciation to the NUJ for honouring the recipients with the Award, said it would encourage others to do well
In his remarks, the Kogi State NUJ Chairman, Comr. Adeiza Momohjimoh, said the Union found Mr. Richard Osaseyi worthy of the award, pointing out that his efforts in rural areas has greatly assisted living standard of the people.
He urged him to see the award as a call to do more and for others to emulate his kind gesture, described Mr. Osaseyi as a man with a good heart, always looking for ways to Improved the lives of the people.
In his response, Mr. Richard Osaseyi, said he is always moved to impact lives, said his joy is when he puts smiles on the faces of people.
