Monthly Nutritional Program: FAIWO Support DCI, Distributes Rice to Vulnerable Groups.
The Secretary to Government of Kogi State, Dr. Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade PhD, has through her Folashade Ayoade Initiative for Widows and Orphans (FAIWO), donated support to Orphans and vulnerable, people with Autism and cerebral palsy as well as to Children living with HIV in Lokoja.
The support for the affected persons was made by FAIWO through the Executive Director, Dual Care Initiative, Mrs Roseline Alabi.
The items were her support to celebrate this year’s Mother’s Day, was distributed at her organization’s monthly nutritional support.
The items distributed by the Dual Care Initiatives includes; bags of rice amidst other support. Mrs. Roseline Alabi said it was the SGS modest way of cushioning the impact and the burden on the challenge on the affected persons.
In her remarks, the Executive Director expressed appreciation to the Secretary to Government of the State, pointing out that she has like a solid rock, supported the vulnerable and less privileged through DCI.
The Executive Director expressed appreciation to others who have always shown support to the needy in the society, called on other well meaning individuals to take a cue from the SGS.
