The Kogi State Chapter, Council of Ulama’u of Nigeria happily joins the entire global Muslim Ummah in commemorating this year’s Maulud Nabiyi Salallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam. It congratulates Muslims for witnessing this memorable and auspicious occasion for this year.
Council urges Muslims to use the occasion for sober reflections on our way of life in strict comparison to what the Prophet Salallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam stands for, exemplified, called for adherence and followership. It also calls for dedication, commitment and resilience in all our acts of worship, be grateful to Almighty ALLAH for His Mercy upon and Blessings for us.
It urges the global Muslim Ummah to adhere strictly to the ever sterling Qualities of Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alayhi which the Muslims have been universally urged to demonstrate.
Council appreciates the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for his continuous support to religious Organisations in the state. It advises all the youths, stakeholders and all those involved in the forthcoming Governorship election in the state to please play the game according to the rules.
It urges the Muslim Ummah to embark on fervent prayers for the governments at all levels and their leadership for Almighty ALLAH to Take us out of the present economic and social predicaments. It also calls on the Muslims to eschew bitterness and promote peace, unity, harmony, understanding and enhance peaceful coexistence among the people for the benefit of all.
Council enjoins all Muslims to be ambassadors of Islam at all times and exemplify good conducts as true followers of Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam whom today and always we celebrate as the pinnacle of all good examples to entire humanity.
