In preparation of bringing the Lokoja Mega Terminal back to live, Some members of the committee were at Sarki-Nnoma Monday to address various vendors selling along the road.
The leader of the Committee who is also the State Security Adviser, Navy Cmdr Jerry Omodara (RTD) told them that the State Government under H.E Alh Yahaya Bello has approved the centralizing of Motor Parks in the state capital, and in no distant time, all vehicles stoping over at Lokoja indiscriminately will have to use only Mega Terminal, as that will be the only approved Motor Park.
He said the government also considered vendors like them as what they do is their source of livelihood, Cmmdr Omodara said they should not worry, as there will be enough space for them within the terminal to continue with their businesses.
“The New Direction Government will not do anything to cause hardship or drive them out of business.”
The vendors were happy to hear this, and majority of them rushed to write down their names in form registration.
