Lokoja Ganaja Road: Slow Pace of Work Making Life Unbearable – Comrade Opaluwa Eleojo.

The slow pace of work on the Ganaja Lokoja road rehabilitation has been described as making life unbearable for commuters.

According to a Labour leader, Comr. Opaluwa Eleojo. urged the authorities of the Federal Road Safety Corps to ensure the deployment of personnel to the road as early as 7:00am am especially at the first 200 housing junction.

He decried the unbearable situation and sufferings commuters were made to go through in the early hours of today.

He said the situation was so chaotic, as the two traffic policemen deployed to the area were clearly overwhelmed by the traffic.

He urged the contractor handling the road rehabilitation to speed up the work as his slow pace of work has not been helping matters saying that it is unfortunate that no one seemed to be monitoring what they are doing.

The Labour leader disclosed that from all indications it looked as if they have abandoned the project technically speaking, said the need to put the plights of the people into consideration remains Paramount.
