Kupa Fadama Farmers have expressed optimism of a bumper harvest this year courtesy of the relative peace created by the Council Chairman of Lokoja LGA, Hon. Mohammed Danasabe Mohammed.
The KUFFUA Chairman, Alhaji Abdulmalik Ibrahim in a chat with newsmen said following the efforts of the Council Chairman in maintaining peace in the Local Government through his operation Lungu Lungu, the farmers are now able to access their farms.
The KUFFUA Chairman particularly praised Gov. Yahaya Bello and Hon. Danasabe Mohammed for making the farming environment enabling in Kupa, Commended the efforts of the Chairman for representing Governor Bello well.
Alhaji Abdulmalik Ibrahim added that since the issues of insecurity affecting farmers have been addressed in Kupa, once the farmers are able to access tractors and other inputs, the area would be the food basket of the state this year.
He urged the Council Chairman to sustain his fight against criminals, assured that the Kupa Fadama Farmers are solidly in support of his administration.
The KUFFUA Chairman scored the Council Chairman excellent in his style of administration so far, said his efforts to pilot the affairs of the council remains unparalleled.
Alhaji Abdulmalik described Hon. Mohammed Danasabe Mohammed as the best thing that has happened to Lokoja LGA in recent time and in governance of the area prayed God to continue to grant him divine health and wisdom as he pilot the affairs of the Council.
