KOGIDECIDES2023: DR SANUSI OHIARE VOTES IN ADAVI-EBA, COMMENDS INEC, SECURITY AGENCIES FOR SMOOTH PROCESS.

 

A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state and member of the Party’s National Campaign Council for the 2023 Kogi governorship election, Dr. Sanusi Ohiare has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for the smooth take-off of voting process in Adavi Local Government Area of the State.

Dr. Ohiare made the commendation during an interaction with newsmen after performing his civic responsibility at his Unit 01 polling unit, Nurul Islam School, Adavi-eba.

He particularly commended the electoral umpire for the prompt deployment of election materials and other logistics.

In his words: “my observation so far is that (election) materials came on time, as well as the security (agencies). Everybody is voting under a very conducive environment. INEC so far have been highly efficient.”

He acknowledged the passion of the electorate who are very eager to perform their civic rights: “it is understandable because there is a lot of passion for this election. One of our own (APC candidate) is on the ballot. By the Grace of God, (the process) will go smoothly and we do not envisage any problems.”

Dr Sanusi Ohiare who was an aspirant during the Kogi APC governorship Primary and until recently, an Executive Director at the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) also said that so far, reports reaching him from other parts of the State indicates that the election is taking place smoothly across Kogi state.

On areas of concerns for him as a an influential stakeholder in the APC, Dr. Ohiare stated thus: “so far, everything is okay.

It is a good improvement (by INEC) on the last election where we had some few grey areas but I think they have corrected it now.”

Finally, the young Technocrat reaffirmed his belief in the ultimate victory of the APC: “We are expecting victory for my party, APC and our candidate, Ododo. We are very hopeful, no doubts.”
