…. Supports His Presidential Bid
Kogi Youths Forum has commended His Excellency, the indefatigable Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello of Kogi State for his giant strides in leadership and numerous humanitarian gestures to the people of Kogi State and beyond.
The President of the Forum, Honourable Attah Emmanuel gave the commendation during an enlarged meeting of the members of the Association which was held in Lokoja.
Hon. Attah said Gov. Yahaya Bello has touched many lives in diverse of ways making him one of the foremost Kogi extraction that is meeting the needs and yearning of the people particularly in the aspect of unprecedented leadership, employment creation, women and youths empowerment.
To state but a few, in the education sector GYB has succeeded in establishing a balanced distribution of state owned higher educational institutes through the establishment of Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara, which is not only conceived but has been birthed and running smoothly with all the needed support.
His success in ensuring an establishment of the Central Motor Park in Lokoja has as well organised transportation business not just for Kogi State but with the ripple effect felt across the country.
In governance, Kogi State can boast of a balanced system of governance with the Local Governments having duly elected cabinets and freehand to perform their functions in reaching the grassroots.
Recently in Idah at an occasion of Joint Convocation for graduates of School of Health Technology, GYB was quoted saying he is not afraid of challenges and this we can clearly seen in all the giant projects he has been executing from the inception of this adminstration with much more to come,as well demonstrated his support for the youth by offering employment to the best graduating student with a huge financial support.
Even when the country was at a conflicting point, as the *bridge builder*, *confluence governor*, the *peace broker*, *unifier* he saw to establishment of peace and understanding between the Northern and Southern/Western food merchants. This has necessitated the drumming of our support for his presidential bid come 2023
GYB’s goodwill can as well be seen in his comrades as an example Hon. Haruna Yusuf (Mobile Lion) has as well been showcasing and exhibiting numerous humanitarian gestures by touching many lives in diverse ways.
His words ” sincerely Gov. Yahaya Bello, has done a lot, though a silent achiever, but we cannot underestimate his numerous contributions to the growth and development of the state and posterity will live to attest to it. Apart from being an employer of labour, in his own ways, he has extended hand to the scholars, elderly, youths, women and the less privileged in the society. A silent achiever that is worthy to be celebrated as a Nigerian, as an illustrious son of Kogi State and as an ambassador of the youths.” He said.
Engineer Attah urged others in the society to emulate him emphasising that collective efforts towards poverty reduction would yield positive results in creating a better society.
Other issues deliberated upon includes; plans towards the end of the year award presentation, visitation to Orphanage and support for Gov. Yahaya Bello as our presidential candidate come 2023.
