I wish to use this medium to thank God Almighty for His ever abiding Love, Grace and Mercy at all times. Also, I specially thank the Elders, Leaders and good people of Kogi West Senatorial District, in ALL the Seven LGAs; Koton Karfi, Lokoja, Kabba-Bunu, Ijumu, Mopa-Muro, Yagba East and Yagba West, for the outpouring of their love, prayers, support and understanding towards me and my campaign organisation pre-election, election and post-elections.
Indeed, I was (and still) overwhelmed and humbled by the massive cross-ethnic, cross-party and cross-communities support extended to me which was showcased by all and sundry at the polls on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Your groundswell support that was explicitly demonstrated by investing your electoral franchise on me did not go unnoticed, and will be certainly appreciated, justified and reciprocated at the Right Time, not far, by the Grace of our Creator.
Fact is, anything built on lies, deceits, manipulations, subterfuge and propaganda cannot stand; at the appropriate time, such will collapse. Truth shall always prevail.
Though not happy with the negative developments, I urge us all, the good people of Kogi West Senatorial District, to stay calm, peaceful and focussed. I urge us all not to be Despaired but be ASSURED that there will be LIGHT at the end of the day. The RIGHT energy, focus, and direction that will lead to positive turnaround and path to genuine victory and triumph are deposited on us by God Almighty.
As we forge ahead, I implore us all to maintain true spirit of brotherhood, oneness and unity. I urge us all to exhibit proper, and rightful conduct and decorum, eschew bickerings and avoid discourse that may overheat the polity.
I wish to admonish and encourage us all to imbibe the counsels in the Good Book that, “having waited patiently for God, He heard our cry, put a New Song; of Praises and Thanksgiving in our mouth, such that many will see and fear God (for all what He will Do).
