….. CONGRATULATES KOGI APC ON RESOUNDING VICTORY IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION
The Senator representing the good people of Kogi West, Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi(CON), has in a statement released today congratulated the Kogi State Government and KOGI SIEC for the peaceful conduct of the just concluded LG election.
In his words, DSSA said “Kogi State is lucky to have Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello as governor at this critical point in time, his disposition and approach to governance has earned him the trust of Kogi people, reason for the peace that prevailed before, during and after the election across the entire state, as well as the overwhelming and resounding victory recorded by APC in the election”.
The Senator also Commend the state APC leadership of Hon Abdullahi Bello dollar for his commitment towards the overwhelming victory.
He equally congratulated all the APC Chairmanship and Councillorship Candidates across the 7 Local Governments of Kogi West for winning the mandates of the people of their respective constituencies, noting that it was a further confirmation of their acceptability as well as the trust the “Let’s do more” government of GYB has earned for our party, the APC.
“The victory was a manifestation of the acceptance of the party and the unprecedented achievements of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello by the people of kogi state” the senator added.
Further, Senator Adeyemi encouraged all the elected Chairmen and Councillors to strive to justify their mandates, as doing so will be the most appropriate way to say thank you to the party and the leadership of our governor for all the support. He equally said he is not in doubt as regarding the capability of the incoming LG leadership to deliver on their mandates.
Finally, he appreciated the people of Kogi West for standing firm with APC as reflected by the outcome of the recent LG election.
