Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole has joined family members, friends and associates to celebrate a philanthropist, an accomplished technocrat, community leader and unassuming retired Custom General, DCG (Elder) Gabriel Toba Aliu (rtd) on his birthday anniversary celebration.
The Speaker said it is heartwarming to celebrate a great icon whose passionate love for the overall development of not only Okunland, Kogi state but the entire country cannot be over emphasized.
He noted that DCG (Elder) Gabriel Toba Aliu (rtd) remained one of Owe finest patriots who believe in the development of the upcoming generations, as he remain one of the few individuals who gave employment to many youths in Nigeria Custom Service who don’t even believe they can’t get such opportunity in life.
He described him as a dependable personality whose consistent efforts are geared towards giving back to the people at the grassroots through his numerous programs which is not limited to the annual widow empowerment program, Provision of boreholes in rural communities, employment opportunities and general support to both the old and young etc, stressing that he has carved a niche for himself with his monumental contributions to humanity.
It is on this note that I, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole, on behalf of my family, Kabba/Bunu State Constituency, the entire members of the 7th assembly, management and staff of the Kogi State House of Assembly felicitate with and congratulate DCG (Elder) Gabriel Toba Aliu (rtd), wishing him a happy birthday celebration.
He prayed that God would grant him more years ahead in good health and prosperity.
