Kogi NUP calls for total obedience to the will of Allah.

 

The Kogi State Chairman, Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Engr. Clement Ohida, has called on Muslims in the State to demonstrate at all times total obedience to the will of the almighty Allah so that they can receive bountiful rewards from Him.

Engr. Ohida in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, noted that the unconditional obedience of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son and the teachings of the Holy Qur’an offered a guidance on how the faithful could receive abundant blessings and favour from Allah.

The NUP said, “ Nigeria and Kogi State can overcome its current challenges and attain its goal of prosperous development if all citizens live in total obedience to the will of the Almighty.”

The Chairman urged Muslims in the state to remain steadfast in their faith in the Almighty Allah who has given them opportunity to witness yet another Eid-el-Kabir.

The Chairman also implored Muslims not to relent in their prayers for the State, said the unparalleled commitment to improving the welfare of Pensioners in the state by the present administration of Gov Ododo calls for sustained prayers and support.

Engr. Clement congratulated Gov Ododo and all the Muslim faithful, particularly members of NUP for witnessing this year’s Eid el Kabir, urged them to be their brothers keeper as the Union says it looks forward to better days ahead for the NUP in the State.
