Chairman Kogi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Adeiza MomohJimoh has today commissioned the newly purchased media tools for working Journalists of the organization.
The working tools include a new brand flat screen LG television and a DSTV decoder purchased by THE GRAPHIC Chapel union led by its chairman, Mr Emmanuel Jasa Gwatana.
Comrade MomohJimoh thanked the chapel executive members for taking the initiative to provide the working tools for its members which will be used in accessing local and foreign news. He also thanked the State government for providing a befiting edifice for THE GRAPHIC Newspaper and called on government to provide the needed media tools like laptops, internet facility to ease the gathering of news by Journalists.
In his speech the National Secretary of NUJ Zone D, Comrade Abdul Aji thanked THE GRAPHIC Chapel Executives for providing the tools for working Journalists in the organization. He called on them to continue to carry their members along in their official functions.
The Executive Editor of THE GRAPHIC, Mr James Oyewole applauded the efforts of the Executive members of the union. He appealed to reporters in the newsroom to continue to make maximum use of the tools to access current news.
The news Editor of THE GRAPHIC, Mrs Josephine Ali assured the NUJ council that working Journalists of THE GRAPHIC Newspaper will continue to excel in their reportage. She thanked the Union Executives for providing the working tools in the newsroom.
In a vote of thanks the Vice Chairman of the Chapel, Mr Aduku Aruwa thanked the NUJ Council Chairman, Comrade Adeiza MomohJimoh for taking time to commission the facilities. He assured the Council of the unalloyed loyalty of the chapel to the state council.
