Public Servants in Kogi State Public Service have been enjoined to approach their work with great sense of commitment, discipline, sincerity, and responsibility as they resume for duties after the Christmas and New Year festivities.
The Head of Civil Service Elder, Deborah A. Ogunmola made this statement in her office while felicitating with workers on the successful celebration of Christmas and beginning of a new year.
While assuring them of the preparedness of the State Government under His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State to provide necessary materials, conducive working environment and comfort for efficient service delivery, the Head of Civil Service stressed the need for workers to be patient with Government, loyal and dedicated to their duties, adding that it is necessary to imbibe the injections and spirit of the celebration of the Christmas which is premised on sacrifice, forgiveness, humility and dedication to the service of God and humanity.
The Head of Service therefore, wished to express deepest appreciation and gratitude to the entire workers in the State for their understanding, perseverance, support and cooperation with the State Government even in the face of daunting challenges.
More importantly She thanked His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello, the Governor of Kogi State for the fulfillment of his promises to pay workers salaries to ensure successful celebration of Christmas and New Year.
