Kogi Gov’s Aide, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi, Shines at Kabba Anglican Cathedral 30th Anniversary, Donates Initial ₦0.5M Towards Church Project

The Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Energy Matters and Chairman of the Forum of Special Advisers, Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi, has once again demonstrated his commitment to community and religious development by gracing the just-concluded 30th Anniversary Celebration of the Kabba Anglican Cathedral.
The colourful event, which attracted dignitaries, political leaders, clerics, traditional leaders, stakeholders, and community members from across Kabba/Bunu and its environs, served as a moment of thanksgiving and reflection on the church’s three decades of spiritual impact and service to humanity.
During the programme, Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi received glowing commendations from the Bishop of Anglican Diocese of Kabba, Rev. Dr Stephen Akobe, who praised his outstanding contributions to the advancement of the church community and the overall development of Kogi West, particularly Kabba/Bunu.
According to the Bishop, Hon. Omoluabi has remained a dependable pillar of support whose leadership style continues to foster unity, peace, and political inclusiveness in the region.
“Omoluabi has contributed immensely to the progress of our community by serving as a strong voice at the state level and uniting all political forces within the community. His contributions to the ongoing church project cannot be overemphasised, as he continues to make his impact felt,” the Bishop stated.
In his response, Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi appreciated the church leadership and members for their prayers and steadfast commitment to societal growth and moral development. He reaffirmed his dedication to supporting initiatives that promote unity, peaceful coexistence, and sustainable development across Kabba/Bunu and Kogi West at large.
As part of his support for the ongoing church building project, the Governor’s aide announced an initial donation of Five Hundred Thousand Naira (₦500,000), while also pledging his continued support for the successful completion of the project.
Hon. Omoluabi further stressed the critical role of faith-based institutions in nation-building, noting that the church remains a vital partner in promoting moral discipline, leadership values, and community development.
He also called on political leaders, stakeholders, and well-meaning individuals within and outside the community to continue supporting projects that will strengthen unity and accelerate development in Kogi West.
His presence, remarks, and generous contribution at the anniversary celebration further reinforced his growing reputation as a grassroots-oriented leader committed to the welfare of the people and the progress of religious and community institutions across Kogi State.
