Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones and his counterpart in the Finance, Budget and Economic Planning Ministry, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, have paid a condolence Visit to Engr. Alhaji Friday Idachaba over the death of his mother Late Mallama Halimat Amodu Idachaba.
The duo visited Engr. Idachaba at the residence of late Mama in Onah, Idah LGA, Kogi State as the duo prayed that the Almighty Allah forgive the sins of the deceased and grant her eternal rest.
They equally prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and fill the vacuum late Mallama Halimat left behind, described her as a quintessential mother who lived a good life and in service to humanity.
The Commissioners described the death of Late Mallama Halimat Amodu Idachaba as a sad loss, said the death is painful, sudden and coming at a time her motherly counsel would have been most helpful.
Hon. Mukadam Asiru Asiwaju Idris, FCA urged Engr. Alhaji Friday Idachaba to take solace in the fact that Late Mallama Halimat lived a fulfilled life, said the testimony about her life and times remains a lesson of service to humanity.
The Finance Commissioner maintained that Mama’s legacies of sincerity, discipline and love for women and children, speaks eloquently about her life and times, urged the family to take solace in her good deeds.
Hon. Wemi Jones described the death of late Mallama Halimat Amodu Idachaba as shocking, urged the family to take solace in the fact that Mama lived a life worthy of emulation, said she will be remembered for her love for humanity.
The education Commissioner equally prayed for God to grant the deceased eternal rest, and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
