KGSHIA SYNERGIZES WITH ACTING CMD KOGI STATE SPECIALIST HOSPITAL LOKOJA ON BETTER QUALITY SERVICE DELIVERY FOR HEALTH INSURANCE ENROLLEES
The Board and Management Staff of Kogi State Health Insurance Agency led by the Board Chairman Pharm Arikochunu Suberu on tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the new Chief Medical Director of Kogi State Specialist Hospital Lokoja, Dr Oluseyi Folagbade to congratulate him on his recent appointment.
While on the courtesy visit Dr Adekunle Aledare used the opportunity to call on the new CMD to use his good office to strengthen the services offered to KGSHIA enrollees in the hospital
The Executive Secretary noted that the continuous availability of essential medicines and prescribed drugs is critical for patient safety and survival.
The Executive Secretary further stated that the Agency has the responsibility to ensure the enrollees get value for their money .
In a similar vein, the Chairman of the Agency’s Board, Pharm. Suberu Arikochunu said the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has his ears on ground on the activities of Kogi State Specialist Hospital maintaining that as the eye of the governor in the Agency he will continue to do his best in performing his oversight function on the activities of the Agency.
Pharm. ArikoChunu called on the new CMD of the State Specialist Hospital to do his best in ensuring quality health care services are delivered to the enrollees of KGSHIA. He assured the management of the State Specialist Hospital Lokoja of the Agency’s committment to the success of the Programme.
In his response the Acting Chief Medical Director of Kogi State Specialist Hospital Lokoja, Dr Oluseyi Folagbade thanked the management of KGSHIA for the visit. He said prior to the visit, he has started taking some measures towards improving the delivery of quality services by the hospital.
The Acting CMD of the State Specialist Hospital further pledged his commitment to ensure KGSHIA Enrollees get the desired benefits as prescribed by the Agency.
