Hon. Sunday Karimi on Friday night organized a pre-convention dinner for Kogi West delegates as a support to GYB to PYB aspiration.
Declaring the dinner opened, Hon. Karimi declared that it is high time the people of Kogi West join hands with His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello in his efforts to change the negative narrative of believing that North Central is only good to be party Chairman.
“I want to urge all of us to see the aspiration of His Excellency as our collective aspiration. We must all be involved, we must realized this dream and our people will be better for it, he submitted.”
The Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole who led other Assembly members from Kogi West to the event was full of joy for the initiative of Hon. Karimi assuring the people of Kogi West that, the Presidency of Yahaya Bello will be a big blessing to the good people of Kogi State.
He said, the entire Assembly members are fully involved already and will see the project to a fruitful end.
The Honourable Commissioner for information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo who led the groups of Political office holders from Yagba Federal Constituency to the event, thanked Hon. Karimi for the Dinner, urged Kogians to stand by their own.
Yemisi Oshaloto, who spoke on behalf of women and the Youth, while acknowledging with thanks the massive support Hon. Karimi has been given to His Excellency’s presidential project, promised that the Youths and Women would be massively mobilize across the country once Alhaji Yahaya Bello declares his intention to heed the clarion calls of Nigerians.
In his Closing remark, the Executive Chairman of Yagba West, Hon. Pius Kokawole popularly called ‘Bello’s First Son’ commended Karimi for making the convention a memorable one. He assured Karimi that with his continuous efforts to achieve the growing unity among Kogi West people, the resolve of the people to achieve GYB to PYB is unshaking.
In attendance at the dinner which took place at ARMTI GUEST HOUSE, Adisa Estate, Apo – Abuja, were the entire delegates from Kogi West, the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Matthew Kokawole, Hon. Jimoh Omiata, Hon. Aderonke Aro, Hon. Kilani Oluomo, Hon. Ademola Destiny, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, Hon. Moses Sunday Alumo, Hon. Pius Kolawole, Hon. Femi Abolaji, Hon. Toba Adebayo, Chief Sunday Aremu.
