It was jubilation and excitement as Lokoja, Capital of Kogi State today experienced its first rain in the year 2022.
Until the rain which brought down temperature to a low, residents had to contend with the unusual Lokoja heat, which made life uncomfortable.
The rain which began at about 7:00pm was accompanied with a slightly heavy lightening and thunder. The rain which lasted for about an hour forced vehicles and other motorists to park due to the heavy nature of the rains.
