Former Edo State Governorship Aspirant, Barrister Kenneth Imansuagbon has enjoined Muslims faithful in Edo state and Nigeria to be steadfast and hopeful of a better Nigeria as they mark the end of the Ramadan fast.
The Chairman, Pacesetters group of Schools in statement to Muslims also noted that period also calls for prayers among Nigerians in overcoming the hydra-headed challenges confronting the nation.
He also called for tolerance, perseverance; sacrifice and love which he noted are some of the lessons of the Ramadan period.
The Edo born philanthropist popular for his yearly annual rice sharing to the needy also called on the privileged class to reach out to the poor in the society who could not afford one square meal a day.
“I want to use the Ramadan occasion to felicitate with Muslims in Edo State and Nigeria at large to congratulate them on the successful completion of the month long Ramadan fast.
“This is period also calls for deep reflection among well—meaning Nigerians to pray for unity of the Country especially in the face of the daunting economic and security challenge facing the Country” .
He further urged Muslims adherents to show love and compassion among others as demonstrated by Holy Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W) and work towards the peace and progress of Edo State and Nigeria as they celebrate
