…. Empowers 40 People in Omala LGA As Part of his Birthday Activities
Nigerian’s have been asked to support Government at all levels to enable it win the fight against insecurity that is presently challenging the Nation.
Hon. Umar Yahaya, a Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Kogi State made the call in Abejukolo, Omala LGA during an empowerment Program he organised to mark his Birthday, appealled to the people at all levels to support Government in providing information to security agencies.
The Politician cum businessman lamented the growing challenges of insecurity bedeviling the country but said that with the support of all and sundry at all levels, Providing information and working collectively with Government and security agencies, the battle against insecurity would be won.
The former Chairmanship Aspirant in the last Council Election advised youths to shun thuggery and not to allow themselves from being used in formenting violence, assuring that with focus determination, they have a glorious and prosperous future.
Hon. Umar Yahaya used the birthday to commend the state government in the infrastructure development ongoing in the State, appealled to the State Government to kindly consider Omala LGA with some needed infrastructure.
He appealled to the State Government to consider Omala LGA in building infrastructure like roads, potable water, particularly want the Government to help in completing the Ankpa – Abejukolo Road already a work in progress and Abejukolo Township roads
The APC Chieftain as part of his birthday activities empowered 40 people, made up of women and Youths with the sum of N20,000.
He said the amount would in no small measure assist women in supporting their small businesses, equally said it would help engage the youths to be busy and to shun anti social vices, promised that the empowerment program would be a continuous efforts.
