As Stakeholders from all walks of live gathered at the Banquet Hall of the National Merit Award House, Maitama Abuja, Wednesday May 22,2024. to figure out Solutions to Some of the Scourge prevalent in our Society with Catastrophic Consequences on the Nation’s Youths, Hon. Aileru Olamilekan Mukail the Special Adviser to the Kwara State Governor on Drugs Abuse, Prevention and Control has also lend his Voice.
Speaking at a Program, Organised by the Mariam Ashley Yusuf, (MAY) Foundation in Partnership with the National Agency for the Prohibition of people Trafficking in Persons, (NAPTIP) tagged, Campaign Against Human Trafficking, Drug And Sexual Abuse , With a theme, Tackling The Multidimensional Vices Ravaging The Nigerian Youths, Hon. Olamilenkan advocated for aggressive awareness Campaign to Overcome those threat in the Social fabric of the Nation.
He implored Parents, Guardians, Teachers and most importantly, Religious leaders to keep their Teenage Children and our Youths informed on the dangers of Vices such as, Drug and Sexual Abuse, Human Trafficking and other vices that are Capable of destroying their future and live in it entirety.
He also opined that, our Homes, Schools, work place and Places of Worship Should be the Starting points were Campaigns against Vices Ravaging the youth are propagated and leaders in all this places must take the lead to Combat it headlong.
The Kwara State Governor’s aide urged for Synergy amongst Governments, Parents, Religious Leaders and Institution of learning for a holistic approach in tackling the menace.
