Hon Musa Abdulmalik, the Caretaker Chairman, Kogi LGA has assured indigenes and residents of his determination and commitment to continue to provide leadership in areas of good governance, security, education, agriculture, health care and human capital development amongst others.
Hon Musa Abdulmalik, Caretaker Committee Chairman of Kogi local government area, gave the assurance in a chat with the Nigerian Post,
said Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo has successfully addressed the fears of critics, often referred to as “doubting Thomases since assumption of office.
The Caretaker Committee Chairman who spoke shortly after attending the Kogi State All Progressives Congress, APC, expanded stakeholders meeting held at the State party secretariat Lokoja, on Tuesday, commended Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo for providing him with a platform to contribute his quota to the development of Kogi LG, State and country at large.
He said the Governor has achieved significantly by implementing a successful policy that is people oriented.
The Caretaker Chairman added that the Governor has made a notable accomplishments in all sectors of the State economy, pointing out that he has proven his detractors wrong.
He expressed his sincere gratitude to God, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Engr. Abubakar Mohammed Bashir Gegu, the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and natural resources, Stakeholders and the entire Kogi local government populace for giving him all the necessary support to operate, saying he his happy that he is meeting with the expectations of the people.
He assured the people of the commitment of the APC led administration in the State to ensure better well-being of the people.
The Kogi LG CTC who was recently endorsed by the Progressives Congress, APC, as candidate for the October 19 councils election, said he was overwhelmed with the recent endorsement by the Zone C people calling on him to run for the office of Kogi local government Chairmanship.
Speaking on his plans for Kogi LG if elected as Executive Chairman, Abdulamlik said he would work closely with the critical stakeholders, opinion moulders and traditional rulers as part of concerted efforts to carry every body along in the scheme of things.
He noted that security top his priority as Caretaker Chairman, vowed to sustain the fight against bad elements who may want to test the will of his adminstration.

He supported us from day one up to the 6 months we’ve spent and he is always encouraging us and showing us the way”.
