The Member Representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency Hon. Lawal Muhammadu Idirisu Chairman House Committee on Population began the payment of Waec/Neco fees for indigents students of SS3 in Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.
The Member who saw education as the bedrock of every nation charged the committee to ensure the benefiaries captured should be the people that really need the gesture as the program was designed majorly for the vulnerables and the less privileges in the society.
The Lawmaker said , the program is part of his continous efforts in placing premium on youth education and capacity development across the Constituency charges all beneficiaries to make use of the opportunity to study hard and make a good result.
The Member said he shall not relent in his efforts in ensuring he profers solution to some pressing challenges where necessary as the constiuents deserve the best for their unflinching support to the party. He used the medium to assured the parents that he shall continue to do more mainly on the renovation and construction of classrooms in some communities across the Constituency.
As the payment began the committee visited the schools to confirmed the authenticity of the candidates captured to ensure those that really need it benefitted.
