Kogi State Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB, earlier on Friday received in his office, some traditional rulers from Ajaokuta Local Government Area.
The Monarchs where led by HRH, Alh. Musa Achuja, the Ohi of Eganyi.
Others are HRH. Chief Adambe Muhammed, Adogu of Eganyi, HRH. Chief Momoh Orengwu, the Obaro of Eganyi and HRH. Chief Otaru Monday, Asema of Eganyi.
The Commissioner assured the Traditional Rulers of the continued commitment of the present administration of Governor Yahaya Bello in revamping Education sector.
He called on the Monarchs to support the effort of Government in protecting lives and property in Schools across the State by taking responsibility of the security and peace in their respective communities.
The Traditional Rulers in their various remarks expressed appreciation to the Governor and the Commissioner for taking Education to the next level in the state.
