High Court Verdict: Kogi Poly Rector congratulate Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, says verdict victory for democracy.

The Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman have congratulated Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on the federal high Court Judgement in Abuja which affirmed his emergence as the duly elected flagbearer of All Progressives Congress (APC) for November gubernatorial poll.

The suit filed by Senator Smart Adeyemi was dismissed on Wednesday 12 July, 2023 at the federal High court Abuja against the emergence of the candidate of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, saying it lacks merit.

Reacting to the judgment, Dr Usman said the federal high court verdict was a victory for democracy and a testament that the good people of Kogi state are pleased with the emergence of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as the party Flagbearer.

He appreciated His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, Kogi State Governor for providing the enabling environment for the peaceful, credible conduct of the party Primary held on 14 April, 2023, noting that Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo tremendous goodwills and support will also reflect at the November governorship poll.

Dr. Usman thank God almighty for the victory, adding that the judiciary has again reaffirmed its solemn responsibility of ensuring that justice prevails at all times.

He reiterated that just like Senator Smart Adeyemi’s petition that was thrashed to the bin for lack of merit, oppositions angst and gang up against Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman would be neutralised by Ododo’s victory in November 11 governorship election.
