Gov. Ododo, Douye Diri, Wike, Davido, Komolafe, Yari, Dogwa, Others For Stardom Global Awards
Prominent Nigerians are set to be honoured at the upcoming 17th Stardom Global Awards for their contributions towards advancement of excellent leadership in their various positions of trust. Stardom Global Awards is the flagship yearly leadership and governance review program of the Stardom Global Television.
The organization allows viewers voting to determine emergence and winners of each category. The 2024 edition began with a four week long voting exercise on voting.sgtv.tv
The 2024 recipients include, governor of Kogi state, His Excellency Usman Ododo who will be honoured with the prestigious honour of Governor of the Year (Civil Service Development) and his Bayelsa State counterpart, His Excellency Douye Diri who will bag Governor of the Year (Infrastructure).
Others are, the CEO Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), Engr. Gbenga Komolafe, who will bag Downstream Petroleum Sector Personality of the Year, a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives, Hon. Alhassan Doguwa who will be honoured as Federal House of Representatives member of the year, and a member of the Senate, Sen. Abdulaziz Yari who will also bag the honour of Senator of the Year.
The award organizers, Stardom Global TV said among other indices of performance, innovative leadership, professional excellence and philanthropic interventions that have improved humanity and better our society were also considered.
In a statement on Monday signed by the Chairman selection committee Dr Wisdom Ohalete said the 2024 edition which is the 17th in the series is poised to recognize individuals whose services have been felt by their communities and Nigerian masses.
According to him, awardees will also be inducted into Stardom Hall of Fame in recognition of their outstanding contributions towards the development of the society
Also to be honoured include, artiste of the Year, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, ~Royal Father of the Year, Oniba of Egbaland, Adesina Raji Ashadi~ and many more personalities.
Professional and corporate sector players will also be honoured and inducted into the Stardom Hall of Fame.
The event will take place on Thursday, 5th of December 2024 by 4pm at NICON Luxury Hotel Abuja.
