The Provost College of Nursing, Obangede, Mrs Hannah Abraham
has has described Gov  Yahaya Bello as the best thing to have happened to the Institution, denied allegations made in some section of the media of running the institution as a personal enterprise.

 

She described the allegation as neither here nor there, said she has operated a transparent administration since assumption of office by following all due process and Financial regulations.

The Provost said the allegations against her as made by Okehi stakeholders is not true having operated a transparent administration under the Chairman and Governing Council of the College.

She further added that the Institution and State audit department have always audited the College’s finances with the institution having a clean slate, wondered why some persons are after her.

She also said that she at no time granted interview or make Public comment to any medium after her budget defence at the State House of Assembly.

The Provost described Gov. Bello as the best thing to have happened to the college since its inception, assurred of the cooperation of the management and staff of the College to the realization of the dreams and aspiration of the governor in his future political and other aspiration.

The Provost lauded Gov Bello for not abandoning any capital projects in the institution since 2018 described the achievements of Gov Bello in the institution as open for anyone to see.

Recalled that few days ago in a statement signed by the management of the College and made available to Newsmen in Lokoja, also said that the Provost was quoted out of context of what transpired at the budget defense at Assembly Complex.

According to the statement, the present administration under Governor Yahaya Bello has invested much in the infrastructural transformation of the College as well as accreditation of courses more than previous administration in Kogi State.

The Provost in the statement urged media professionals to always cross check their facts before publication as she was commended for her performance by House Standing Committee on Health and Social Services for her efforts at running the College.

The Management College of Nursing Obangede described the recent publication as a figment of the imagination of the writer and an attempt to smear the image of the Provost and the management of the institution.
