The General Manager Kogi State Community and Social Development agency, Chief Dauda Momoh, has restated the resolve of the organization to surpass its 2021 achievements in the coming year.
The General Manager made the resolve shortly after receiving an award of Excellent Service to humanity by the KGCSDA.
The award was presented to the GM CSDA by the Old Students of Government Science Secondary School Onyedega, Ibaji LGA.
Mall. Dauda disclosed that the objectives of the organization is to do more in the coming year, promised to surpass its three year record in 2022.
The GM disclosed that ttheagency embarked on over 150 projects; 72 Micro projects in the East, over 70 in Central and over 68 in the West senatorial district respectively, said the CSDP has assisted communities in the implementation of their felt needs with Micro Projects in Education, Health, Rural Electrification, Transportation, Water, Socio-Economic, Environment/ Natural Resource and Gender & Vulnerable Groups (GVG), expressed satisfaction that the agency met its objectives for establishment under the Leadership of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
While he maintained that the KGCSDA is geared towards ensuring that poor Communities are given a facelift, stressed that the agency would not rest on its oars until it puts smiles on the faces of people living in rural Communities.
The General Manager disclosed that the agency has returned to the drawing board, preparing for the tasks ahead, assurred that the agency would surpass its three years achievements in 2022, lauded Gov. Yahaya Bello for the enabling environment it has created for the agency to achieve its objectives.
Mall. Dauda thanked Gov. Yahaya Bello for the attention and support it has given to the agency, promising that to whom much is given, the agency is promising to remain outstanding in the coming years.
Mall. Dauda thanked the GSS Onyedega and others who have watched closely the activities of the agency, promised to justify, sustain and surpass its records in the new year.
Presenting the award to the GM KGCSDA, Barr. Steven Ugbeda, President of the Old Student association at Onyedega, described the impact of the CSDA in the local government as Unprecedented.
He disclosed that until the intervention by KGCSDA, the poor people in the area had to suffer neglect in accessing quality health care and potable water, thanked Gov. Yahaya Bello for supporting the agency to meet the yearning and aspiration of Rural dwellers.
