The Federal Government’s NeP Programme under REA (rural electrification agency) has concluded arrangement to light up fifteen Communities in Kogi State.
The Kogi State Commissioner for Rural Development, Hon. Daniel Oniel Ejigbo made the disclosure while speaking with the Nigerianpost.
According to the Commissioner, two teams from the Rural Electrification Agency have visited Kogi State and have agreed to light up fifteen rural communities in the State.
He said five communities in each Senatorial District of the State would be lightened up by the Rural Electrification Agency.
The Commissioner stated that Kogi state has been made a priority state in the Federal Government’s NeP Programme because the State is one of the fastest global economic hub.
The Commissioner attributed the success by the State to the efforts of Gov Yahaya Bello who has made rural development a priority, also commended him for making the State the investment destination.
Hon. Daniel described Gov Bello as the most Rural Development f friendly Governor the State has ever had, lauded the giant strides achievements of the present administration in the State.
