Ex-Kogi Speaker Kolawole donates wrappers, cash to over 100 widows

 

The former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Prince Kolawole has donated wrappers and money to over 100 widows in Kabba-Bunu local government area of the state.

 

Each of the widows got one wrapper and N20,000 naira each from his Widows Empowerment Program which is an annual event.

Speaking during the Empowerment programme, he noted that the empowerment programme is one out of many programmes he has scheduled to organised for his people.

He pointed out that this year’s programme was in honour of his late wife, Deaconess Mrs. Zainab Esther Kolawole who passed away some years back.

He also assured the people of Kabba-Bunu local government area that the administration of the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Ododo is determined to reach the grassroot.

According to him staff of all the 21 local government areas in the state are happy with the governor.

He assured his own followers in Kabba-Bunu to rally round the administration of the governor so that he can succeed and provide dividends of democracy to the people.

The former speaker equally urged women and men in his community to have that absolute believe in the governor pointing out that the former Governor of the State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello did well by chosen Alhaji Ahmed Ododo to succeed him as the Governor of the state which he said since Ododo assumed office he has not dissapointed a the people.
