The Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashiru Gegu has sent a message of appreciation to the people of Kogi LGA for their massive support for the APC in the just concluded Governorship election.
Engr. Bashiru described the peaceful and orderly conduct of the people last Saturday as impressive, expressed optimism the support will continue to translate into gains of democracy for the area.
Engr. Bashiru described Kogi LGA as an APC LGA, said efforts to attract the much talked about dividends of democracy to the area.
He expressed gratitude to Gov. Yahaya Bello for the support to Kogi LGA, pointing out that the present administration has made much impact on the lives of the people than any other administration in the State.
He described the provision of hospital at Gegu and other communities, water, light, empowerment and other dividends of democracy Kogi LGA benefitted under the present administration as unquantifiable.
He assured of more to come for the people in the next Administration, thanked all the APC leaders and members for making the victory seamless in the last weekend election.
