EKINRIN-ADDE DAY: BEBM Exhibitions Congratulates Otun Yeye Mesho, Chief (Barr.) Ladi Ahmed Jatto, OON
The Conveners of the Annual Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials
Exhibitions have congratulated the people of Ekinrin-Adde in Ijumu Local Government Area for the success of the 2024 Ekinrin-Adde Day celebrations
and the newly installed Otun Yeye Mesho of Ekinrin -Adde, Chief (Bar.) Ladi Ahmed Jatto.
The Conveners appreciated the Ekirin Adde Community for her consideration, confirmation as Otun Yeye Mesho of Ekinrin -Adde, praised the colourful and well attended installation.
In a release signed on behalf of the Executive Convener, Hon. Oladipo Bayode
and released to media in Lokoja today by Mr. Rotimi Odofin, the Director of Media Engagements, praised Chief (Bar) Ladi Ahmed Jatto OON for her contributions to erosion control in Kogi State through her position when she served as Project Coordinator of the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) and presently as Agro-Climate Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes Project (ACRESAL).
The Statement appreciated her continued
mainstreaming of rural infrastructural development that is solving the age long
problem of poverty and hunger in the rural communities in Kogi State, particularly semi-arid like topography and landscapes.
The BEBM Exhibitions was quoted as describing the new Otun Yeye Mesho as
one of the best hands in environmental management and protection in Kogi state.
The group also said it recently decorated her as one of the Icons of Built Environment Development in Kogi at her exhibition, added that her recognition by the Ekirin Adde Community is a confirmation to her excellent contributions.
The recognition and honor, BEBM disclosed confirms that the voice of the traditional institution remains the most authentic voice of the rural people.
