A frontline Federal House of Representatives aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, Chief Olaiya Michael Olobatoke shook Ekinrin Adde on Saturday as unprecedented mammoth crowds welcome him to the arena of the Ekinrin Adde Day, 2021.
The young Philanthropist arrived at the field, Baptist High School venue of the Ekinrin Adde Day 2021, the arena was filled to the brim, while the entire space as well as the surroundings were flooded with his faithful supporters and admirers.
Olobatoke was on the occasion of the Ekinrin Adde Day 2021 honoured with a chieftaincy title, Otunba Atunluse of Ekinrin-Adde for his various show of love towards the community development.
While speaking with newsmen at the occasion, Otunba Olaiya Michael Olobatoke explained that the title conferred on him by the Ekinrin Adde Community in itself has shown clearly that the community appreciate what he has contributed to the development of the community.
Emphasizing on the need for collective efforts towards Community development, he described Community development as a process where community members come together to take collective action and generate solutions to common problems.
He went further that Anything, dealing with people, working together to make our community better can be put under Community Development, whether those are social or economic needs as long as the goal is to make the entire community stronger and better and should be a collective responsibility of all and should not be left for the government alone.
Otunba Atunluse of Ekinrin-Adde, on his part for the launching of 100m EACDA Education, Infrastructure Development Fund again supported the project with a sum of two million (2m naira).
