The lawmaker representing Yagba Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide greets Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
Hon. Leke in his Sallah message urged Muslims to committed to the blessings of sacrifice to the Almighty God and humanity.
“This period is significant to true obedience as to selflessness and submission to Almighty Allah’s will”.
Hon. Leke advised that Muslims should extend the spiritual benefits of Eid-el-Kabir to others and also remember to pray for togetherness that promotes peace in our society.
He said Nigeria needs more prayer, especially now that every region is battling with insecurity.
“I urge you all to learn the lessons of Allah and also give yourselves up to what the Holy book teaches in the ways of love, peace and unity to foster coexistence that brings national peace. Let’s all devote ourselves to the qualities of Prophet Mohammed(S. A.W) whose sacrificial and obedient life is the reason for celebration”.
Hon. Leke Abejide enjoined Muslims to be cautious and aware of their environments during the celebration, and also called that they broaden the hands of love and giving to the needy during this period.
While praying that Almighty Allah will accept all the spiritual goodness(Ibadat) and
enrich your souls with strength on the path of righteousness.
