Kogi State Chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam has called on Muslims in the State to emulate the action of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) whose submission to the will of his Creator, Allah remains a lesson in perpetuity for the entire human race.
The call is contained in a message of Eidil – Adha jointly signed by the State Chairman, Ambassador Usman Bello and Secretary, Alhaji Isa Adeboye.
The State JNI described as unprecedented the acceptance of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) to sacrifice his son, Ismail in adherence to the command of his creator and advised Muslims to return to Allah in any situation they find themselves.
The State JNI enjoined all Muslims to continue to pray to Allah for forgiveness and mercy in view of the security challenges ravaging the whole country.
While congratulating His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on the occasion of Eidil – Adha and prayed Allah to protect him and members of his team in their zeal to ensure peaceful Co-existence in the State, JNI appeals to all Muslims in the State to continue to pray fervently for the indivisibility of this country, Peace, Unity and Development.
