EID-EL-KABIR 2023: DG GOVT HOUSE CELEBRATES MUSLIM UMMAH, URGES THEM TO BE GRATEFUL FOR THE GIFT OF LIFE

As Muslims all over the world troops out to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr, Alh. Dr. Umaru Oricha Shuaibu has congratulated the entire Muslim Ummah for the successful celebration.

Speaking from his residence in Agassa, the highly effective administrator Government admonished every Muslim to draw closer to Almighty Allah as without a deeper relationship with Him, one is bound to fall into the ever ready trap of the evil ones. In his words, “We are confronted on a daily basis by the evil machinations of the wicked ones and without fervent prayers and total commitment to serve Almighty Allah, we are bound to fall into the ever ready trap of the evil ones.”

Also, the Director General Government House Administration said, “the gift of life is what has brought us to this point of celebrating Eid-el-Kabir as only the living can celebrate festivities. Our lives belongs to Almighty Allah and it is expected of us to always stand in awe of Him and make obeisance while praying as this is the only way we can appreciate His divine protective measures over our lives.”

He added that, “Some people who were well prepared to be part of this spiritual celebration died on the eve of Eid-el-Kabir and no one can question the decision of Almighty Allah who remains the only giver of life.” Alh. Dr. Umaru Oricha Shuaibu also used this medium of conveying Sallah message to the Muslim faithful to console the family of late Dr. Salihu Abdulrahaman, a renowned Medical Practitioner who died on the eve of Eid-el-Kabir. He prayed that Allah (S.A.W.) will give the whole Ebira nation and his immediate family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of this caring, loving and dutiful surgeon whose dint of hard work brought about the establishment of the popular Oyiza Hospital located in Ebogogo, Adavi Local Government Area. He also prayed that Almighty Allah will rest his precious soul in Aljanah Firdaus.

Speaking further, Alh. Dr. Umar Oricha Shuaibu said, “As we celebrate, I sincerely believe that our lives, state and nation can make rapid progress on all fronts if we re-enact the exemplary virtues, typified by Prophet Ibrahim, through his sacrifice, patience, steadfastness, generosity and total obedience to Allah’s command and constituted authority.”
