Eid-el-Fitr: Sen. Karimi felicitate with Nigerians, Muslims in Kogi West Senatorial District.
Sen. Sunday Karimi, Senator Representing Kogi West Senatorial District, has congratulated Muslims on the conclusion of the Ramadan fast and on the 2025 Eid El Fitri.
In his Sallah message to mark the end of the Ramadan fasting period, Sen. Karimi stressed the importance of putting the virtues of Islam into practice beyond the fasting season.
While congratulating Muslims on completing “this spiritually significant month of sacrifice,” the Senator urged them to reflect on the importance of Ramadan in becoming good ambassadors of Islam at all times.
According to the Senator, “religion should be the moral compass for all believers in their public and personal lives,” adding that “if people allow the teachings of their religions to influence their conducts, problems such as corruption, which diverts public funds to private pockets, would have been eliminated in the society.”
“Let us remain strong in our hope that Nigeria will become what we fervently want it to be: a nation that fills its citizens with happiness and pride,” Sen. Karimi said.
“Every true Muslim feels joy at participating in the Ramadan fast, which is a key obligation in Islam. May Almighty God therefore reward us for the spiritual voyage and grant our earnest wishes for ourselves, families and dear country.
