Ebonyi youths pass vote of confidence on Gov. Nwifuru
—-Declare no vacancy in the Government house come 2027

The youths of Ebonyi State have unanimously passed vote of confidence on the State Governor chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, saying that there no vacancy in Ebonyi State Government house come 2027.
This followed the massive empowerement, human and infrastructural development of the Governor since his assumption of office in the State.
This was made known during youths submit organized by FON youth movement held at the International conference centre (ICC) in Abakaliki, the State capital.
The submit with the theme “purposeful leadership amongst the youths for Nation building” had over 5000 youths in attendance.
In his remarks, the National President of the Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru Youth Movement (FON) who doubles as the Senior Special Assistant to the Ebonyi State Governor on Youth Mobilization Comrade Chinedu Emerike commended Governor Nwifuru for the massive inclusion of youths in his adminstration, describing it as the first of its kind in the State.
According to Emerike “90% of Local Government Chairmen are youths, 80% of Executive Council members are youths, and 50% of board and commission members are youths. Governor Nwifuru he has empowered so many of youths in the State, we the youths never had it so good like now before”
He said the milestones were the evidence of the Governor’s commitment to nurturing young leaders even as he has changed the saying “youths are leaders of tomorrow”
Emerike declared: “We, the good youths of Ebonyi State have said there’s no vacancy in the Government House in 2027. The only rightful candidate is Onwa, the builder of human beings. Four plus four is eight Governor Nwifuru must complete his two terms in office,” Very soon you will begin to see vehicles written 4 plus 4 in this town” he stated
While addressing the youths, Governor Nwifuru represented by the State Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, Hon. Richard Idike, appreciated the youths for their support to his administration since he came on board.
He urged participants to utilize the training to enhance their contributions to governance and development.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on security Ebonyi North zone Hon. Felix Okemini, Special Assistant to the governor on Airport Security, Nnanna Nwangele and BOT chairman of FON youths movement Mr. Chiboy Nwenyi said Governor Nwifuru has performed excellently well and deserved to go for second tenure.
They enjoined the youths to continue being supportive to Governor Nwifuru’s led administration while expressing the Governor’s commitment to ensure youths meaningfully engaged in the State.
The representatives of the commissioner for police and NDLEA commandant in their lectures tasked the youths to shun crimes and consumption of hard drugs but engage themselves meaningfully for the overall peace and development of the State and the large society.
The youths later presented an award of excellence to some deserving individuals in recongnition of their meaningful contributions to youths development in the State.
The awardees included the State APC chairman Chief Stanley Okoro emegha, a business mogul Chief Chikaodili Ojemba among others.
At the event, Governor Nwifuru represented by his Deputy Princess Patricia Obila extolled the youths for organizing such educative and impactful submit in the State.
He reassured that his administration would continue to do its best in shaping building and catering for the welfare of youths in the State in line with his peoples charter of needs manifesto.
