The matriarch of Usman nee Abdulkadir family of Ankpa local government area, and the Mother of All progressives Congress stalwart, Doctor Alima Alfa,Hajia Hawawu Usman is dead.
A family statement which was signed by the Scion of the family, Doctor (Barrister), Alima Alfa and released to Newsmen in Lokoja today, said her remains would be committed to mother earth today at 2pm after ajanat prayer which will hold at the new Ankpa central Mosque, Ankpa local government area.
‘The statement read in part,. “we the family of Alhaji Usman regrets to announced the death of our beloved mother who’s sad event happened in the late hours of Tuesday night (13-01-2021) after a brief illness .
Late, hajia Hawawu Usman nee Abdulkadir who passed on at the fruitful age of over ninty years old was a devoted Muslim, woman community leader and a philanthropist
The deceased left behind prominent sons and daughters among who is a one time Commissioner and a stalwart of the All progressives Congress in Kogi state, Doctor (Barrister), Halima Alfa.
