As an NGO focused on youth development, we recognize the immense impact that this decision will have on the youth of Nigeria. With the continued use of the old Naira notes, young people who may have struggled to access new notes due to financial constraints or a lack of awareness will still be able to participate fully in the economy. This decision will also give more time for individuals to adequately prepare for the eventual transition to the new Naira notes.
