Convener Congress for Better Nigeria Blasts Barr. Natasha over comments made about Kidnap of Kogi CoS mother.


 

The Convener, Congress for Better Nigeria, Barr. Zaccaeus Dare Michael has described the comments credited to Barr. Natasha Akpoti about the kidnap of the mother of the Kogi State Chief of Staff, Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku as unfortunate, insisting that she has proven to be insensitive and a not a mother.

Barr. Dare lamented that the statement alledgly credited to Barr. Natasha that the Chief of Staff should search for his mother in the houses of thugs empowered during the last Governorship election was sacastic, described the statement as unfortunate of Barr. Natasha.

 

Barr. Dare in a statement issued to Newsmen said it is a High level stupidity and insensitivity to politicized such a global crime like kidnapping, said it is a proven fact that under Gov. Yahaya Bello, the state has witnessed peace and tranquility, courtesy of the rejigging of the security apparatus put in place by the present administration.

He lamented that for a mother of the Chief of Staff to be kidnap, described words coming out of the mouth of Barr. Natasha as very saddened, insultative, described her as driving rough and hopelessly.

Barr. Dare pointed out that the mother of Gov Bello was kidnapped before he became governor, asked Barr. Natasha if it was the present administration that empowered thugs then to kidnap the Governor’s mother.

He described the statement credited to Barr. Natasha as uncultured of a politician, said for a mother to have made such insensitive to the plight of a mother who was kidnapped speaks volumes and should be condemned.

The Convener pointed out that the Governor and his Chief of Staff visited Barr. Natasha when she had accident, said that should have been the spirit expected when unfortunate accident happens to someone, but lamented that Barr. Natasha went too pedestrian by her statement, described her as playing to the gallery as unfortunate.

Barr. Dare described Kogi State under Gov. Bello as the safest State in Nigeria, pointing out that at some point in the history of Kogi State, citizens and Nationals were advised against traveling to Kogi State before the advent of the administration of Gov Bello, lamented that Barr. Natasha is playing Politics with the lives of citizens for no just cause.

While pointing out that the security agencies should invite Barr. Natasha for questioning since she has Information of the location and houses of thugs used during election, said it will help the security agencies in unraveling those behind the kidnap of the Mother of the chief of staff as she may have vital information leading to tracking the kidnappers.
