Coalition of Political parties Kogi State chapter is a watch dog of political actors in the State and our search light was beamed on Alhaji Suleiman Mikhail.
Since his appointment as Kogi East APC Zonal Chairman, it’s on this note we want to appreciate his Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State for his eagle eyes in the selection of his appointees to pilot this administration.
We discover that the Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Comr. Salifu Oyibo, the Auditor-General of the State, Yakubu Okala are resolutely and unequivocally has taken it upon themselves to support the Zonal Chairman to reinstate the lost glory of APC in Kogi East.
The activities of Alhaji Suleiman Mikhail as the Kogi East Zonal Chairman has indeed ignited fire in wooing new entrance and encouraging old members to come back home, according to him “you cannot build a house and abandon it for another to inherit”
He went further to assure the people that what’s more important in politics is development, not who is in the saddle of leadership. His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo the current Governor of Kogi State is a grassroots politician well mentored by Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello the immediate past Governor of Kogi State to correct some of the mistakes of the past administration.
“I’m proud to let you know that from the steps of the current Governor, you’re all witnesses that the foundation he is building is on the unity of Kogi State, the consolidation is for the success of the three senatorial districts to Coexist on equal bases.
“To stress it further, it is the prompt payment of salaries of civil servants, State and local government has tremendously improved, the payment of pension and gratuities is gradually being addressed without discrimination, the construction of about 9 specific roads across the three senatorial districts is another testament of the governor well mentored to building bridges of unity in Kogi State.
“The Zonal Chairman’s speeches everywhere he went in Kogi East is a statement of UNITY and to provide enabling environment for Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to thrive for capital projects to flood our land, because without cooperation, peace and love, it will be difficult to witness the needed development in Kogi East.
“He reiterated that election has come and gone, though in the appeal to ventilate grievances, I want to plead with all and sundry to come back home for a round table discussion to move the State forward.
