Sequel to the physical meeting of the IGALA CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (ICDA) Electoral Committee, constituted by ICDA National Executive Committee and endorsed by the Igala Traditional Council, held on Saturday 28th August 2021 with Moses Ebute a Senior Advocate of Nigeria as the chairman & Bar.M.A. Abaji as the secretary with various virtual meetings held after that, the ICDA ELECTORAL COMMITTEE has officially released for sale EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORM & NOMINATION FORM for the following offices contained in the constitution of the IGALA CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (ICDA) :
1) PRESIDENT
2) VICE PRESIDENT
3) SECRETARY
4) ASST SECRETARY
5) FIN. SECRETARY
6) PUB.SECRETARY
7) TREASURER
8) DIR.SOCIALS/WELFARE.
Only the offices in the constitution are here announced for elections. The other offices in the BY-LAW shall be advertised & contested for after the AGM has ractified & amended the constitution to include them.
The forms for the office of the PRESIDENT, GENERAL SECRETARY & TREASURER cost N20,000.00 only.
The other offices goes for N10,000.00 only.
The ICDA ELECTORAL COMMITTEE with the approval of all stakeholders of the Igala nation has fixed Saturday, 2nd October 2021 for the elections at the Igala house Anyigba.
All Igala sons and daughters world wide who are eligible and interested in holding elective office in the ICDA are to purchase the forms as from today 1st of September to 20th of September 2021.

Screening of aspirants shall take place from 21st – 28th September 2021,followed by the publication of successful aspirants before the elections on the 2nd of October 2021.
According to the constitution & By-Law of the
IGALA CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (ICDA) the following are qualified to aspire as executives of the organization:
1) MUST BE IGALA
2) MUST BE A REGISTERED MEMBER OF ICDA & VALIDLY NOMINATED/SPONSORED BY HIS/HER BRANCH
3) HIS/HER BRANCH AND THE ASPIRANT MUST BE FINANCIALLY UP TO DATE & NOT INDEBTED TO ICDA NATIONAL
