A two time Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Sunday Karimi has congratulated an illustrious son of Ijumu land and a legislature per excellence, Senator Smart Adeyemi on the auspicious occasion of his birthday, 18th August 2021.
Hon. Karimi who represented Yagba Federal Constituency between 2011 and 2019 in the House of Representatives, in his brithday message discribed the celebrant as a Veteran journalist who showed professionalism, held on to the ethics and core values of the job, saying his commendable strides as an erstwhile President of National Union of Journalist (NUJ) is a testimonial to this virtues and responsible conduct, which is not only exemplary but indelible in the annals of the Union. Glaringly, he’s imbued with sound leadership traits and uncommon vision for great accomplishments.
In his words” Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi is an astute politician and a legislator with an unparalleled experience in lawmaking, owing to his unique attributes of eloquence, articulacy, courage, sagacity, pragmatism, intellectual depth and his nationalist disposition. He has bestrode the National political landscape and the Red chamber like a collosus, speaking truth to power, contributes to National Development and pitching tent with the masses always, Hon. Karimi opined.
The former Lawmaker notes, that his quality representation at the hallowed chamber has been productive with huge impact on the electorates. He has also shown to be a co-pilot in the project Greater Kogi with his resonating voice in the hallowed chamber and firm cooperation with the New Direction government of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello to deliver dividend of democracy to the masses.
He stated that, Sen. Adeyemi is a Bridge builder, Super Parliamentarian, Community developer, Progressives of note, an inspirational figure, Pride of Okun nation and a committed servant leader totally given to the service of his people.
He prayed that God Almighty will bestow upon him the Grace and Enablement to live more years of greater services to the people, in sound health and prosperity.
