Letter of Appreciation/Commendation.
Permit me to use this medium to appreciate and commend your dexterity, courage and above all run one of the most successful Governorship campaign.
Your Excellency, you have once again proven that with the enabling environment, Kogi State has people like you who would offer the much needed purposeful leadership and good governance.
Let me say without mincing words, that for some of us I’m not surprised by the quality and sincere support you enjoyed during the electioneering campaign. Your footprints is visible in Yagba Federal Constituency.
Let me place on record that the election may have come and gone, but be consoled by the fact that for some of us you are actually a winner and history will remember you for your sincerity of purpose to serve Kogi State.
Your Excellency, do not be discouraged. For us your foot soldiers, we’re made stronger, focused and determined to plan ahead for the nearest future to come.
Factors that affects our Election in Lokoja.
Your Excellency, it is important that we place on record the challenges encountered during the election to some factors.
(1) Some leaders claimed they can deliver for Leke and collected our money and voted against us.
(2) Religion Factor some persons voted on the basis of religion, explaining that the opportunity for Christians to be Governor.
(3) The inability to concentrate our campaign in Lokoja during the Campaign also affected our victory.
(4) Some of our Inner Caucus members betrayed us by licking our secrets to our opponents
(5) Regional politics. The Igala’s supported their brother from East, the Ebiras supported their brother from Central and the Okun’s voted against Leke.
Your Excellency, permit me to deeply and most sincerely appreciate the opportunity you gave me to serve as Coordinator, Lokoja LGA for the Governorship election.
