A former House of Representatives Member, Hon Sunday Karimi has reiterated his commitment to ensuring that through his corporate social responsibility efforts he helps in alleviating the hardship faced by Motorists and Commuters in Yagba Federal Constituency.
The former Lawmaker made the disclosure to Newsmen during the repair of Ajaforunti – Oja Egbe road, said the time to partner with Government at all levels in fixing infrastructure cannot be better than now.
Recalled that the Lawmaker had helped in fixing other Federal roads, broken down boreholes and solar panels lighting system in the area in the last few weeks, assured that, no gesture is too much in providing succour for the citizens.
While flagging off the repairs and fixing of Ajaforunti – Oja Egbe road, Hon Karimi said aside the grading and filling the road with laterites to fill the damaged portions of the road, efforts would be made to provide the needed drainage systems to help check the gully erosion.
Hon Karimi Steven Sunday maintained that the continued rehabilitation of damaged portions of the road is to make it better motorable and for easier walk by passersby.
He urged other well meaning individuals not to see development as one that should be left in the hands of Government alone, insisting that when the roads are motorable, it would ease movement and curb insecurity on the Road.
Hon Karimi maintenance Team Engineers assured that quality and standard is going to be ensured on the roads and boreholes repairs, commended the former Lawmaker for his unquenchable love for the people.
Hon Karimi is a front burning runner for the Senate seat for Kogi West Senatorial District under All Progressives Congress – APC come 2023.
