Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael’s Unending Infrastructure Development In Kabba/Bunu LGA
The unassuming, performing Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael has not ceased to wow the people of Kabba/Bunu LGA since he got to office in 2024
He came prepared to build lasting legacies that will outlive him. The first major litmus test of his leadership capacity came in early 2024, when he built a “Security Base” for the local government hunters at adjacent Kogi State University, Kabba, with the sole aim of strengthening security operation around the university communities for the safety of the students and the neighbouring villagers.
Zacchaeus assumed the role of a military commander leading the front with a purposeful approach, rallying the people, resources and other critical stakeholders in building the security base when he’s barely two months in office while serving as the Caretaker Chairman of Kabba/Bunu LGA.
He has showed great capacity, showing understanding, meeting demands of rampaging youths and instituting structures that will continuously address the needs of the young people of Kabba/Bunu LGA, amidst the largely State Government-led initiatives to end criminality and banditry .
Zacchaeus’s agenda, anchored on RESTORATION agenda, which he has taken to the next level. He has continued to solidify his legacy as a transformative leader through his unwavering commitment to infrastructure development.
The ongoing Primary HealthCare Centres (PHCs) in Okebukun Bunu, as well as those in Kajola Kabba, Agbadu Bunu, Kabba Central Market, Aiyegunle Igun Bunu, Owode Kabba and Okedayo Kabba. These projects are not just PHCs; they represent a lifeline for residents, and commuters in Kabba/Bunu LGA..
Fostering a sense of community ownership, the chairman urged residents to protect these projects from vandalism. The local infrastructure projects are designed with sustainability in mind, emphasizing shared responsibility in maintaining the city’s assets, ensuring that the benefits of these investments are long-lasting.
Zacchaeus’s administration has pledged to continue upgrading old Primary Healthcare Centers and constructing new ones to meet the needs of the residents. This commitment is part of his broader RESTORATION agenda.
Through strategic projects like these, Zacchaeus continues to build a legacy of excellence, ensuring that residents can get access to medical care with ease and pride.
