Hon. Haruna Ganaja condemns attack on Kogi State Commissioner of Solid Minerals, calls for perpetrators to be brought to justice
Special Adviser on Community Integration and Harmonization to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Hon. Haruna Ganaja on Saturday condemned the attack on the convoy of Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, the Honourable Commissioner Commissioner of Solid Minerals and Natural Resources.
In a strongly worded statement, the Special Adviser on Community Integration and Harmonization to Governor Ododo said the attack is cowardly and is an attack on the State.
He called on the security agencies to get to work and fish out the culprits behind the attack and bring them to justice to serve as deterrent to anybody who is hell-bent on disturbing the peace of Kogi State in any way.
He also called on all the communities in Kogi State to work with the security agencies and help identify the culprits behind the attack as the culprits are a threat to the peace of Kogi State.
He also called on Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu to keep up the good works he is doing and not be deterred at all by the attack. He also prayed Almighty Allah to continue to keep Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu safe as he goes about in his duties in service to Kogi State.
