
Breaking: Kogi Under 12 table tennis player, Samson Joshua, loses to World U11 Champion from Uganda, to represent Africa at World U12

Kogi State Under 12 table tennis player Samson Joshua fought gallantly in the finals of the African Hope week challenge and lost 3-2 to the World U11 Champion from Uganda.
This is after playing and winning 12 games. Joshua and the Ugandan Champion will be representing Africa at the World U12 Hope week challenge coming up in Sheffield, England between the 12th and 19th October, 2025.
The State Chairman of Kogi State Table Tennis board (Dr. Shaibu D Mohammed) in his usual optimistic manner gave money to several of the young players who don’t have international passport to get it as fast as they can.
Samson Joshua being one of the beneficiary of this largese got his passport some months back, making him battle ready to make Africa proud in the UK come October.
